HAPPY NEW YEAR to all you VibeJivers and thank you for your fantastic support throughout 2011.
FWF (Freestyle - the one with the punch) this Wednesday 4th January from 7.30 pm -try to make it as it will be a great start to 2012. Its only £6.00 on the door and that includes a glass of VibeJive punch! We serve non-alcoholic punch for the drivers too!
As we are fast approaching our first anniversary in February, we intend to mark the occasion with style, so check here for more information within the next week or so.
We hope you have enjoyed the VibeJive experience as much as we have. As you know, a group of us continued Holmfirth because we loved it so much and just thought we would do our best for a period of time and see what happened.
Well, a year on we seem to have gone from strength to strength and have only closed for one week throughout the year for Christmas week - not bad!
During that year we have had various talented teachers giving the most entertaining classes. We now run a monthly freestyle (yes, FWF - the one with the punch!), issue weekly bulletins and monthly newsletters and have this fantastic website (still being developed) which gives lots of interesting information. We are also on Facebook and reach over 100 people by Facebook and email every week. Who would have thought we would have achieved this much 12 months ago and its going to get even better!!
To end the year in true VibeJive style we had our Christmas Party at 315 Bar & Restaurant, Lepton in December and we are all still talking about it—it was BRILLIANT!! Photos are on Facebook (VibeJive Community) and should be on the Website by next weekend.
We have seen our group grow, new faces have emerged, new dancers have emerged!!! We are very proud of you all! We also find friends of old coming back and great to see them too!
We’ve seen the Hervey’s Wine Bar group increase with different faces dipping in and out according to availability and what a good time we have down there. If you haven’t been yet, you’re welcome to join us afterwards for a swift drink and a bit of jovial banter - just ask at the desk, its very easy, you just pole up!
VibeJive have lots of treats in store through the coming year, so keep checking out the website for more info. Just to remind you, we’re non-profit making so whatever you put in, you get back in some way or another.
No moves to report for this week as it is freestyle but great ones in store for the coming weeks and we will try to give you some sort of teaching programme soon.
