It’s that time of the month again…..the time we’ve all been waiting for….yes, you’ve guessed it, this Wednesday, 2nd May, it’s FWF (Freestyle—The one with the Punch!!!).
Due to local elections we are at North Light Gallery, Armitage Bridge. This is a contemporary space that not only has superb artwork adorning the walls whilst you dance (how many venues can boast that?) but it is also very easy to find. Coming from Huddersfield along the A616, turn right immediately after Laxmi Restaurant on the right hand side, go over the bridge and you will find signs for Brookes Mill. There is ample car parking.
As you know, this is a very popular event…...I’m sure it has something to do with the quality of the punch and even though I have been asked for the recipe many times, this is a VibeJive secret recipe and my lips are firmly sealed.
We’ve got a great evening lined up for you so do try to make it, you know we’re a lovely, friendly bunch of people who just love to dance - PLUS - there are some extra treats in store this week in celebration of our first VibeJive Annual General Meeting held last Wednesday. It went very well and we find we are in the happy position of being in funds so will be convening shortly to decide how best to spend some of our ill gotten gains on our lovely VibeJivers!
Just a reminder that we are NON-PROFIT MAKING so any profits that are made are ploughed straight back into our favourite dance club.
We have just put together a timetable showing dance teachers and dance moves and this will shortly be added to our website — www.vibejive.co.uk and Facebook - VibeJive Community, so look out for this. We have some great dance teachers on our books now, as well as our resident Dawn and Eric and Sandra, we have Lisa Curly Wurly Graydon, Michelle Ellwood and Linda and Steve Bettany. What a line up!
